At present, China's steel industry is actively promoting green and low-carbon development, strengthening scientific and technological innovation, mergers and restructuring to speed up upgrading. The "Plan" proposes to deepen supply-side structural reform, strictly control the total capacity, adjust and optimize the industrial layout, and promote the transformation and upgrading of enterprises. The "plan" also makes clear that by 2025, Henan steel industry industrial structure, production mode green low-carbon transformation will achieve significant results, green low-carbon technology and equipment widely used, energy utilization efficiency greatly improved, quality and efficiency significantly improved, comprehensive energy consumption per ton of steel reduced by more than 2%, electric steel production accounted for the proportion of total crude steel production increased to more than 15%.
